Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Walkthrough

This walkthrough hub is the map of Lara Croft's Scion expedition in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. Use it to jump into a region, then cross-link into puzzles, combat, and gear when a room stops being a corridor and starts being a test.

How this walkthrough is built

The 1996 original and 2007's Anniversary still describe the expedition's bones: Caves and Vilcabamba into the Lost Valley and Qualopec's tomb; Greece through St. Francis' Folly, the Colosseum, Palace of Midas, and Tihocan; Egypt through Khamoon to the Sanctuary of the Scion; then Natla's mines and the Atlantean pyramid. Legacy of Atlantis keeps that geography while expanding rooms into semi-connected spaces you can approach from more than one angle.

Hands-on coverage is densest in Peru. Journalists at Summer Game Fest 2026 spent about an hour in the Lost Valley, solving a rebuilt waterfall cog puzzle and then fighting raptors into a T-Rex chase. Later chapters on this wiki therefore mix confirmed design talk — Egypt's level-wide light beam, Greece's Palace of Midas reveal, human mercenaries tied to Natla — with honest gaps. We will not invent switch numbers for rooms nobody has played.

Suggested order

Play in release order even if you came here from a boss search. Peru teaches the scanner, the wrist grapple, and the idea that the second cog will not be marked with a giant icon. Greece raises vertical puzzle language. Egypt turns an entire region into one machine. Atlantis is where traps, mutants, and Natla stop being folklore. Jump to the Peru chapter, the Greece chapter, the Egypt chapter, or the Atlantis chapter.

If a room is beating you, leave the walkthrough and open the matching skill page. Water and gears belong in how to solve puzzles. A ledge you cannot read belongs in how to traverse. A pack of raptors belongs in how to beat dinosaurs. That split is how this wiki stays usable during a real play session.

Difficulty sliders and secrets

Independent sliders for overall difficulty, puzzles, combat, and traversal are in the preview build. A player who wants Anniversary-hard thinking with gentler gunfights can have that. A player who wants dual pistols only, as design director Jason Epps invited, can have that too. Secrets and artifacts matter more than they did in 1996 because they feed the skill tree and herb brewing. When a side path looks decorative, check it. Preview players found caves by diving with Circle and rare materials in ruined buildings off the critical path.

What we will update after launch

On February 12, 2027 this hub becomes a live checklist: collectibles per region, boss patterns, missable outfits, and scanner lore objects. Until then, treat every later-region paragraph as a briefing. If you are here only to decide a pre-order, pair this page with the preview review and the editions breakdown rather than waiting for a 100% spoiler map that cannot exist yet.

Frequently asked questions

Is the level order the same as 1996? +

The publicly discussed regions match the original spine: Peru, Greece, Egypt, then the Atlantean island. Individual rooms are expanded and some puzzles are rebuilt, so do not expect a room-for-room clone.

Which chapter has actual gameplay footage? +

Peru. The Lost Valley cog puzzle, raptor combat, and T-Rex chase were shown in hands-on previews and official mini-docs.

Will this walkthrough include every secret? +

Not before launch. We flag where exploration is rewarded. Full secret counts wait for the shipped game.

Can I skip combat and only read puzzles? +

Yes. Use the region pages for routing, then open the puzzles guide and keep combat difficulty lowered in the settings sliders.
