Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Greece Walkthrough

Greece is where Legacy of Atlantis stops being a jungle demo and becomes a vertical tomb game. Public material is thinner than Peru, so this chapter is a briefing: the classic beats, the shots Crystal Dynamics has already shown, and the systems you should master before you arrive.

The classic Greek spine, rebuilt

In 1996, Greece after Peru meant St. Francis' Folly, the Colosseum, the Palace of Midas, and the Tomb of Tihocan. Those names remain the right mental model. Official traversal coverage already shows a Midas temple reveal and a buried-city leap, which tells us Crystal Dynamics is not skipping the gold-touch mythology or the ruin-scale camera pulls that make a jump feel expensive. Expect longer sightlines than the PlayStation original and more ways to enter a chamber — grapple, scramble, pole swing — instead of a single timed run-up.

Tihocan is the second Atlantean triumvirate member after Qualopec. His tomb is where the original story confirms that the Scion is not a Peruvian curiosity. Read the characters page if you need the triumvirate straight, then come back here for routing.

What to practice before Greece

Peru lets you fumble the grapple. Greece will punish messy releases on horizontal poles and mistimed swan dives. Work through how to traverse until letting go of a pole on X feels like a rhythm, not a guess. The Palace of Midas historically turns the lead-bar puzzle into a spatial joke; even if the reimagining changes the recipe, the lesson stays: look for a process, not a highlighted switch. Keep the puzzles guide open if you hate standing in a beautiful room with no idea which statue is lying to you.

Combat in enclosed ruins

Animals still matter — lions were the Colosseum joke in 1996 — but Greece is also where human mercenaries can start to feel real if Natla's network is already in play. Mercenaries create cover. Assault rifles pin, shotguns rush, snipers punish standing still. That is a different dance from raptors. If Peru taught you to cartwheel, Greece may teach you to break line of sight, then re-enter with the assault rifle or SMG. Dual pistols remain valid; they are simply slower into armored men.

How this page will grow

After launch we will add Folly room orders, timed runs, and any Midas-specific instant-death changes. The original's lead-to-gold beat is famous enough that we expect a reimagined version rather than a deletion — Will Kerslake already promised "big rolling balls" as a philosophy. Until we have that footage, use this chapter as a packing list: upgrade traversal skills, bank Peru artifacts, and know Tihocan's name. Then continue to the Egypt walkthrough or return to the walkthrough hub.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Palace of Midas confirmed? +

Official traversal material includes a Midas temple reveal shot. Treat the location as confirmed in spirit; treat puzzle steps as unreleased.

Who is Tihocan? +

One of the three Atlantean rulers alongside Qualopec and Natla. His tomb is the narrative hinge of the Greek chapter in the original expedition.

Should I save shotgun ammo for Greece? +

We do not have drop tables yet. Preview talk says most guns are found in the world. Dual pistols can finish the game if you are patient.

What is the biggest risk in this region? +

Verticality. Falls, pole mistimes, and camera-pull jumps. Raise traversal assistance if the Folly-style shafts feel like 1996 all over again.
